Finding Dictionaries and Encyclopedias in the Library
The Library provides specialist dictionaries, encyclopedias or handbooks. To search for these in the Library:
1. Go to the Library Catalogue.
2. Use the Search Guru search option, in the orange box.
3. Enter keywords e.g.
Definitions and Background Information
- Dictionaries help you to define your keywords.
- Encyclopedias help you to get an overview of your topic and provide more information than a dictionary.
- Handbooks and manuals provide figures and facts.
