Your Research Essay Question
The steps below can help you in planning and finding resources for your Research Essay Question.
STEP 1: GETTING STARTED
- Your student card allows you to borrow books at the Library.
- Your email username and password is used to access the Library's electronic resources.
STEP 2: PLANNING
- Identify the key words, concepts and phrases in your question.
- Identify synonyms or alternative keywords.
- Find definitions for any words you do not understand

STEP 3: SEARCHING
- Search the Library Catalogue for books.
- Search relevant Library databases for journal articles.
STEP 4: EVALUATING
- Check that you have found some articles from academic journals.
- Check that the resources you have found are relevant to your question.
