The steps below can help you in planning and finding resources for your Research Essay Question.

STEP 1: GETTING STARTED

• Your student card allows you to borrow books at the Library.
• Your email username and password is used to access the Library's electronic resources.

STEP 2: PLANNING

• Identify the key words, concepts and phrases in your question.
• Identify synonyms or alternative keywords.
• Find definitions for any words you do not understand

• Search the Library Catalogue for books.
• Search relevant Library databases for journal articles.

STEP 4: EVALUATING

• Check that you have found some articles from academic journals.
• Check that the resources you have found are relevant to your question.
