Library Guide for the STEP to UOW Program

This guide has been developed to supplement the Library class for students in the STEP to UOW Program. 

LIBRARY CATALOGUE:

Try searching for keywords in your essay question in the Library Catalogue.

• Try searching within Search Guru first and refine your results to only the most recent items available.
• Use the subject tags within Search Guru to discover more related keywords on your topic.

LIBRARY DATABASES:

Select a Library database from the list of databases suggested for WCA. A good one to start with is ProQuest Central.

• Search within the database using the keywords from your question.
• Remember to include AND, OR, as well as truncation(*) to improve your search results.
