Access to UOW books

If you live outside the local (02 42) telephone code area and are a GSM Clinical Academic or a GSM student completing either Phase 2 Session 2 or Phase 3, you can use off-campus Library services.

Further information is available here. You can place requests to borrow items using the forms listed under 'Making requests'. You will need the barcode on your Library card to access the form.

• GSM Phase 2 Session 2 students should type 'GSM Phase 2 and a current mailing address in the 'Additional Information' field.
• GSM Phase 3 students should type 'GSM Phase 3' and a current mailing address in the 'Additional Information' field.
• GSM Clinical Academics should note 'GSM' in the 'Additional Information' field.

Items will be posted to the address provided but you will be liable for return postage costs. Please ensure that borrowed items are returned on time to:

Access to books/articles not held at UOW

You may need to access other Library materials while on placement, such as books/journal articles not held at UOW Library. All GSM students and academic staff are eligible to use the Library's Document Delivery service. If the material is available electronically, items will be delivered via the Web and you will be notified by email. Non-electronic materials will be posted to the address provided.

Access to online resources

Library resources such as databases, online journals and online books are available using your UOW email username and password.
