Embedding learning objects into Moodle

Our Library Learning Object collection

The Library designs learning objects that can be embedded into your subject's Moodle site, complementing your subject's assessment tasks and academic skills at point-of-need for your students.

These learning objects range from interactive tutorials to videos and cover topics such as:

  • finding scholarly information
  • searching in specific databases, like Scopus or Web of Science
  • developing search skills, and more.

Our online repository, EQUELLA, holds the Library Learning Object Collection.

To embed your Digital Learning Objects into Moodle:

  1. Log in to Equella via the Staff Intranet.
  2. Select 'Browse by collection'.
  3. Select 'Library Learning Object Collection (LLOC)'.
  4. Choose a relevant learning object.
  5. Click 'Add to Moodle' (see image below).
