Where to study

The Library is the perfect place to study! We have extended opening hours during the exam period, plus a 24/7 zone for you night owls.

24/7 zone

Yes, there's a section of the Wollongong Campus Library that's open 24 hours a day in Autumn and Spring sessions. The 24/7 zone is in South Wing and IMTS Computer Labs (Levels 1 and 2, Building 17).

The 24/7 zone has:

  • over 250 study seats
  • access to computers and printers
  • kitchenette facilities, including a microwave and sink
  • vending machines

When studying in the 24/7 zone, make sure you have your student card on hand. UOW Security are also available to walk you to your car after hours.

Group study rooms are located at Wollongong Campus Library and Shoalhaven Campus Library.

Quiet spaces

Quiet study spaces at the Wollongong Campus Library can be found here:

  • Law Library, Ground Floor
  • All of Level 1
  • Outside Computer Labs 1 and 2, Level 2
  • South Wing, Level 2, Building 17

Collaborative study

Wollongong Campus Library has a range of informal learning spaces on the Ground Floor, including:
