Borrowing: ULANZ borrowing scheme

ULANZ borrowing scheme

What is ULANZ?

ULANZ (University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand) is a borrowing scheme that allows UOW students and staff to borrow selected books from other participating university libraries.

ULANZ is designed to act as a supplement to the home library so borrowing conditions and fees are set with the host institution.

How to use ULANZ

To borrow items under the ULANZ scheme:

  1. You must register directly at the library that you wish to borrow from, providing proof of current enrollment/employment and student/staff ID.
  2. Memberships are valid to 28 February of the following year and a new application must be lodged each year.
  3. You must always return items to the library you borrowed from.
  4. You must always comply with the borrowing conditions of the host library. Failure to comply may result in your UOW Library borrowing privileges being blocked.
