Student Digital Skills Hub
You can find the Student Digital Skills Hub in your subject Moodle sites and from the Useful Links menu in Moodle.
The Hub can help you identify your digital strengths and supports you to develop new capabilities—so you can feel confident you have the skills needed for your studies and the digital environments of your life and future careers.
The Hub contains:
- Information about digital capabilities and why they're important
- LinkedIn Learning, which gives you access to a huge library of support videos and courses to help you develop a specific digital skill.
- A self-evaluation tool to improve your digital skills
- Help resources, FAQs, and the opportunity to submit a query for further support
The self-evaluation ‘Discovery Tool’ enables you to rate your levels of confidence across six areas of digital capabilities. The tool also:
- delivers a personalised report on your current digital skills
- identifies areas of strength and development
- provides access to an extensive resource bank to help you develop your digital capabilities
