Copyright tips and what to look for in Sherpa Romeo
Sherpa Romeo is an online tool provided by Jisc that provides information on publisher open access policies from a wide range of publishers. It provides summaries of these publisher’s copyright and open access policies, journal by journal.
When you deposit an open access version of a publication to Research Online, as part of the submission process you will be shown detailed information relating to the open access version the copyright agreement allows.
There may also be conditions you will need to comply with, and these are listed in the Submitted, Accepted and Published tabs of the Deposit advice.
