Subject Readings and Moodle Sites
From 30 January 2025, Library resource links in your Moodle site (e.g., ebooks or journal articles) may be affected by the transition to OpenAthens.
Subject Readings
Subject Readings is UOW's reading list management tool that integrates with Moodle. Links within your list will automatically update with the transition to OpenAthens. If you have been using the Library subject reading tool, no action is required.
Moodle sites
- Direct resource links: If you've embedded a Library resource link or one containing 'ezproxy' directly into your Moodle site (and not in your subject readings list), you may need to update these links manually. Links to external websites will not be impacted.
- Permalinks: These links will automatically work. If you've used a permalink or a subject readings list, no action is required.
- Best practice: Use a Subject Readings list for Library resources or a permalink for external sources.
