Developing a search strategy
- Determine your search words using our Interactive Keywords Builder. This is a good place to start before you start looking for information.
- Narrow your search. Include words or phrases that describe the type of information you are looking for e.g. SWOT, report, statistics, "five forces".
- Include specific names (i.e. company name, product name, brand) to narrow your search.
- Use Industry classification codes as part of your search strategy when searching for industry information.
