Higher Degree Research Library Checklist: Stay Organised

Staying organised saves you time and keeps you up to date

I know how to get the full-text of articles from databases and borrow Library books.
I can request articles and books from other libraries.
Register here for our free Document Delivery service to request materials not held at UOW.
I keep up to date with new research in my area.
Save time by setting up database alerts. See our Alerts for Researchers Guide.
I use a citation tool (e.g. EndNote) to organise my references and link it with Word to produce my bibliography.
EndNote is a software package used to manage bibliographies and references. Our EndNote page will teach you what you need to know.
  1. Review the instructions prior to downloading software.
  2. Watch some quick training videos.
  3. Register for a workshop (HDR students.)
