Technology in the Library

Connect to WiFi

  • Choose 'UOW' from the WiFi list on your device
  • Select 'connect'
  • Enter your UOW account details (username and password)

For IT support, visit the IT Help Desk (Level 1, Building 17) at our Wollongong Campus.


There are computers on all levels of Wollongong Campus Library including South Wing in Building 17.

You can also loan a laptop from the IT Help Desk (Level 1, Building 17)

To log on, use your UOW account username and password.

Collaborate on Solstice Screens

You can find Solstice screens on the Ground Floor of the Wollongong Campus Library. They're great for group work, or any other time you need to crowd around a screen.

With Solstice you can:

  • share your mobile or laptop screen on the Solstice for easy visibility.
  • share more than one screen on the Solstice side by side.

How to connect to Solstice

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi
  2. Download the Solstice app to your device (you'll only need to do this once!)
  3. Launch the app
  4. Select the Solstice screen you're using
  5. Enter the 4 digit screen key
  6. You're connected!*

UOW Student Makerspace

Get creative with state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with UOW's innovators in the UOW Student Makerspace. (It's on the Ground Floor of the Wollongong Campus Library.)
