In text citation

  • Use the first author’s name followed by et al. in the in-text citations.

For example:

Reference list

  • For up to and including 20 authors, list all the authors in the reference list entry. For 21 or more authors, list the first 19 authors in the reference list entry, followed by an ellipsis - “…” - then the name of the final author.
