Reference list

  • For articles with more than one author, list the authors in order with last name first followed by their first name initial for each author – for example, ‘Smith, S’.
  • In a newspaper, the headline is the ‘article title’ which appears inside single quote marks.
  • Include the date of publication (day month) of the source after the article title.
  • The name of the publication is in italics.
  • Include the page number/s of the article in the reference list entry.
